凝胶迁移试验（EMSA）是一种常用的体外检测转录因子活性的方法。基于文献选出转录因子的一致性序列(consensus sequence)，将其做为检测人、小鼠、大鼠转录因子活性的探针。转录因子激活时，与生物素标记的探针结合形成复合物，电泳时复合物迁移速率比游离探针慢，因此可以很容易辨别转录因子的活性。Signosis的每种EMSA试剂盒包括了所有试剂和转印膜，为使用者提供便利。
